THIS BLARG

Heya...

To start out with, I'm gonna dedicate this blog (for as long as I'm able to stay on track) to NOSTALGIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA...

I've decided to claim the last week in March as Nostalgia Week due to me watching things from my childhood.

This blog will discuss things such as toys, TV shows, movies, and videogames from early to mid 90's (my childhood).

First up:

One of my absolute favorite TV shows of all time ever, called "The Secret World of Alex Mack"

The show's all about a middle school girl named Alex Mack who gets involved in an accident with a delivery truck carrying a new top secret chemical called GC-161 which came from the chemical plant where her father works. The chemical changed Alex, giving her telepathy, the ability to morph into a silver living puddle, and the ability to "zap" things with her fingers.

To a kid like me, this show was enticing. I'd do whatever was necessary to watch it. Why did I like it so much? It's a story about a kid who's a loner and always is picked on who suddenly gets powers. It's like every kid's dream!

  1. I think I was already an adult when that show was on. Thanks for making me feel old! :p

  2. I dont believe I have ever seen that before. But, I thought it was a joke when I saw the vehicle almost run her over and the toxic waste spilled all over her body. In all reality, she probably would have contracted leukemia and died, or have perhaps been turned into some sort of a flesh eating zombie if we were to follow George Romero zombie mythology.

  3. I love your idea for this! It's always fun to remember stuff from childhood.
